This is a remix of my song "Political," which I released on Juneteenth 2020 in the wake of the racial justice protests after the murder of George Floyd. I've never been entirely happy with the way that track ended up and have tried to rework it several times.

Now, in April 2021, with people heading back into the streets to protest the murder of Daunte Wright and Adam Toledo and so many others - and with so many of the same people coming back out of the woodwork to make the same excuses justifying their deaths - it feels like we're right back where we were last year.

This remix is rough, done quickly; in anger; in the heat of the moment. It remains unfinished. Maybe that's the lesson.
